This is actually a paint over of a sketch that was languishing in my "to do" folder. I think my original intention was a cyber mecha queen(sort of) that wasn't going anywhere. I started just throwing shapes and lines on top. As I was playing with layers, this bird like shape sort of appeared. It ended up with an abstract quality that is different from what I usually do. More experiments!

whoa...bit of a break there. The last few months have been filled with fun new projects and great experiences, but it hasn't left me much free time. For this one I wanted to play with textures, trying to keep it loose.

Contrary to popular opinion, the beautiful creatures we know as Unicorns are actually manufactured....in a futuristic factory.....and they can time travel.

I'm workin on some possible splash pages/covers for the CRUNCH comic. I don't wanna give too much away in terms of what this image represents, but I will say I was trying to capture a creepy/scary element. Not sure if I'm gonna use it(for a few reasons), but it was a good exercise. More to come!
