ghostfish...

Usually I'll pick at a piece for a while over the course of a week or so. The last few have been bigger, and for this one I wanted to sit down and just go with a rough idea.8 1/2 by 11. No real planning except a thumbnail I sketched. About 2-3 hours I guess.

this is very nice craig. i really like the black space behind the fish to really POP it.
yeah i've heard much great stuff about Robin as well. I know that Ruby is definitely in good hands. The illustrations of Ruby Gloom on my page are from the 2 books I illustrated. The only slight regret that I have is that i don't get to work on the actual cartoon. But all is good, I'm just glad there are people out there that appreciate her :).

Love the mood! very cool and very interesting image. It holds a lot of stories and just looking at it, makes you wonder what happened to the robot. Was it thrown in the ocean, or was it from a future city that was flooded etc:)

You're awesome:D

Hey Hans-Originally I concocted this overly elaborate idea how he got there...but I think the image of a robot walking alone at the bottom of the ocean, trying to find his way to the surface interested me. Really dig the flooded city angle too.

Awesome!:) maybe he's the last survivor from a flodded city and now he's crossing the oceans to find his new home???

I think we're on to something here:)
